MARCO CARRIÓN

Producer, Audio Engineer and Composer based in Mexico City. 

Within the world of cinema and TV, he has participated in projects like Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Next Goal Wins (Taika Waititi), Narcos Mexico, Coco (Pixar), Bronco la serie, Operación Concha, Sacúdete las penas.

From a very young age he made his way as a musician playing in Big Big Love and performing on the most representative festivals of his country such as Vive Latino and Corona Capital. Later he joined the Mexican Institute of Sound where he has toured around the world on relevant stages. 

He has been involved in several projects with representative artists of his country such as Los Ángeles Azules, Natalia Lafourcade, Lila Downs, Celso Piña, Mexican Institute of Sound; making those recordings around the world in countries like Italy, Mali, USA, Spain and different parts of Mexico. 

Now at days he’s co-owner with Gerardo beltrán at sur~, a company dedicated to the creation, production, and development of sound-based projects where he constantly works in projects with people like Camilo Lara, Guillermo Arriaga, Simon Bross, Pepe Montalvo and Raúl Cardoz. He is also well known in the advertising community with sur’s work on brands like Apple, American Express, Adidas, Mitsubishi, Kellogg’s, Pizza Hut, Uber, Suzuki, AT&T, PepsiCo, The Home Depot, and many more.

Dentro del mundo del cine y T.V. ha participado en proyectos como Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Next Goal Wins (Taika Waititi), Narcos Mexico, Coco (Pixar), Bronco la serie, Operación Concha, Sacúdete las penas.

Desde muy joven se abrió camino como músico tocando en Big Big Love, actuando en los escenarios mas representativos de su país como el Vive Latino y el Corona Capital. Mas tarde se unió al Instituto Mexicano del Sonido/Mexican Institute of Sound donde ha realizado giras alrededor del mundo en escenarios relevantes.

Ha participando en proyectos con varios artistas representativos de su país como Los Ángeles Azules,Belinda ,Natalia Lafourcade, Lila Downs, Celso Piña, Instituto Mexicano del Sonido; realizando grabaciones alrededor del mundo en países como Italia, Mali, E.U., España y distintas partes de México.

Actualmente es copropietario de sur~ junto a Gerardo Beltrán, empresa dedicada a la producción y desarrollo de proyectos a base de sonido donde trabaja constantemente en proyectos con gente como Camilo Lara, Guillermo Arriaga, Simon Bross, Pepe Montalvo y Raúl Cardoz. También es muy conocido en la comunidad publicitaria con el trabajo de sur~ en marcas como Apple, American Express, Adidas, Mitsubishi, Kellogg's, Pizza Hut, Uber, Suzuki, AT&T, PepsiCo, The Home Depot y muchas más.
